TFX ADJUSTING

The TFX system is very easy to adjust. Follow these easy steps

1.

Measuring back – in a Lowe Alpine specialist retailer you should be able to use our Torso Fit stick which makes this process easy. If not a simple tape measure will do. You have to measure the distance from a line around your waist at the level of your iliac crest – the top of the prominent bone at the side of your pelvis – up to the 7th vertebrae – the prominent vertebrae at the base of your neck.

2.

Once you have a measurement compare to our chart.

3.

Adjust the back length to suit. This is achieved by opening the lumbar pad, changing the position of the buckle until the correct coloured bar is visible and then closing the lumbar pad. The coloured bars are guides only and you may find you want to re-adjust after a while, you can shorten or lengthen the web to get a fully customised fit.

Open the lumbar pad

Check the position of the coloured bar showing in the buckle

Shorten by cranking the buckle;
lengthen by simple loosening the web and pulling the scapula pad upwards.
